Progressive Alarm Clock App Reviews

I set my alarm and get up. I never snooze. I wear earplugs. This a bad alarm for me. I can set an alarm, have it go off, and turn it off successfully. Just not this alarm. It works fine when I test it. Wonderful app! But in the real world I cant hear it even at max volume, I cant successfully shut it off, and sometimes it doesnt go off. Clearly this is user error but the app set me up for defeat. Most irritatingly, when it goes off and I do hear it something I do in those first moments causes the screen to go blank. Then with the alarm bonging away I have figure out how to log into my phone, find the app, open it, figure out which part of the screen I need to touch, and accurately touch it, all with gummy, blurry eyes and a fogged brain. The app needs some simplifying. As it is its useless to me. Too bad because in testing its beautiful and very gentle. Im sorry I cant use it.

Ive been using it for years and tho I love to sleep and hate waking up, this beautiful set of gongs, gentle wake up speed , easy snooze button etc make it as joyful to use as could be!

I love to wake up with progressive alarms as opposed to conventional ones and I was looking for an app to do so as my zen alarm clock broke. I do not like this app because its not user friendly and is not designed for daily use. I wish it had features like the native iPhone alarm clock where you can set daily alarms. I also do not like the fact that if the app gets closed out, the alarm shuts off. In my mind, this shouldnt be. It seems this app is ok for specific, occasional use.

Its enjoyable to not be startled awake. But for it to be a more subtle experience.

I hate jarring alarms and this does the trick!

Easy to use. Pleasant sounds. No risk of injury from jolting awake by offensive noises from traditional alarms.

Does what it says it will do, flawlessly and elegantly. No problems, ever, with original app it subsequent updates. The progressive alarm is a nice way to wake up. I recommend it.

Ive been using this app close to 4 years now. After my zen clock broke (after 1 year) I wasnt too keen on spending another $100 for an alarm clock. This app filled my needs perfectly

This is the only alarm clock app I use. It wakes me gently and slowly with a sound that doesnt jar me awake. Thank goodness for this wonderful app. Thank you!

Great, but I wish it had many more options too save many more wake up alarm times to save.

I hate waking up- this app makes it less painful than others do.

This is the app that gently wakes me up every morning. The only thing that would make it even better would be the ability to set multiple alarms. 2 or 3 would be great.

I had considered buying one of these years ago when it was a real thing, but never got around to it. So, safe to say I love this app!

This is ingenious. Id heard about progressive alarm clocks back when they were mechanical and sold for $100 through wellness magazines. Never bought one, but am so glad someone came up with the idea to turn it into an inexpensive app. Ive used this app for years, and prefer it to any other alarm available. Highly recommend.

Awesome app, love the sounds. Its amazing to wake up with singing bowl! I wish they would have an option to set alarm on certain time and save it so for repeat daily so i dont have to set up alarm for the same time every night before i go to bed...

I have a physical Zen alarm clock with a chime. This app replaces it quite well when Im on the road. I dont use the snooze button so I dont have the same issues has some other reviewers. I wish I could customize the various intervals myself.

I bought this app to help me wake up eaaaaarly in the morning, which is bad enough without a blaring alarm blasting you out of a deep sleep. Its a very pleasant way to wake up, usually within the first couple of chimes. My only suggestion is to be able to set a weeks worth of alarms at once- right now I have to remember to set it every night. Otherwise, I think its a great app and Im thankful for it every morning at 5am.

Use it every day. Works as advertised. Wonderful way to wake up.
